The Trauma of The Artist (2017)
I was supposed to be making an artwork about my past trauma. Nothing was going to plan. I was incredibly stressed and angry. I presented the thing I hated because it traumatised me a little to bring it to life so badly.
She Hears All (2017)
Ethical Decoration (2017)
I made this necklace from almonds, seeds and my friend’s hair she gave me after a hair cut. I know many people have told me they think this is gross.
Many people who found it disconcerting are also people who wear leather shoes, wool jumpers, materials that are obtained through killing and physically harming animals.
One is consensual, the other is harmful.
